I don’t necessarily believe in “ruining” anything, simply because I know that everything ends up working itself out. We often get stuck in our plans and feel the need to control- ex. You were planning on going out for a walk and the rain “ruined” your plans?? No, it did not. You have many options, walk in the rain, go walk indoors somewhere, do some stretching, pick a different activity. DISRUPTIONS lead to a different path. THAT BEING SAID, I love this quote (just had to clear up how I feel about things being “ruined”💁🏽‍♀️) I love this quote because how often do we look to tomorrow, next week, 4 months from now, and think SHIIIITTTTTTTTTTT this is gonna be challenging! while missing out on the beauty of today. To LET GO of resistance and grasping at a sense of control is easier said than done. Can you take 1 breath, one pause, that grounds you and propels you with forward momentum and reminds you of why you’re here in the first place?
