There have always been challenges to overcome when trying to get pregnant, managing your hormones, being a new mother, and in the first year of getting into the swing of things (not to mention the rest of your life). In today’s climate, there are a few additional stressors and difficulties that can add to the existing fear and anxiety surrounding motherhood, to name a few:
- Difficulty with conception
- Stress and adrenal fatigue
- PCOS
- Embryo transfer
- Unplanned pregnancy
- Having other young children at home and on the go
- Pandemic concerns
- Fear and anxiety about childrearing
- Body image concerns
- Physical discomfort
- Existing mental health difficulties
- Stress on the relationship with your partner
AND SOOOOOO MANY MORE!!
How do you address this fear and anxiety so that you can have a healthy pregnancy? How do you foster connection and love within your relationships? How do you take care of yourself and manage your own physical, emotional, psychological, mental, social, sexual, and intellectual wellbeing as a mother!?
I am pleased to tell you that I am running a 4-week FREE online group therapy program to specifically dive into all of the above! It will be taking place Wednesday January 5, 12, 19, & 26 from 6:00PM-7:00PM online via Zoom. This will be a confidential group setting and you can withdraw at anytime if it doesn’t seem like the right fit for you.
I think that this is MUCH NEEDED. I’m really looking forward to connecting with you all, hearing everyone’s stories, and creating a space for you to connect to one another. If you’d like to register, please let me know by January 2nd, 2022 via email at bwannamakerpsychotherapy@gmail.com
