Mindfulness for Binge Eating

So many women struggle with binge eating, yep – that’s right, you’re not alone!

Did you know that studies have shown:

  • People who binge eat tend to be overthinkers
  • Overthinking can lead to difficulty with decision making
  • Binge eating doesn’t mean that you lack self-control or that you’ve failed
  • Bingeing is a biological response to restricting food intake (mentally & physically)
  • Binge eat has been linked to other difficulties such as impulsivity (substance use, shopping, etc.)
  • Mood and emotions can have an effect on binge eating
  • Mindfulness-based practices can help to increase emotional regulation skills

In the New Year, I’ll be running a group therapy program to help you feel more connected to yourself. If you can relate to any of the above info, then check out the details below!
