Hi, I’m Bria!

And I’m OBSESSED with the MIND-BODY CONNECTION. I’m a Registered Psychotherapist and I have been working as a Therapist while also running my personal training business on the side, until recently, after 3 years of being a Personal Trainer, I decided that I wanted to focus solely on my work as a Therapist. Because of my background in helping people to take honorship of their physical health, I know how inseparable physical and mental health are, and how much they influence one another.

Stress and anxiety can show up as physical symptoms (somatization), the body holds on to emotions that you have not been able to process and heal from. When you don’t take a pause, don’t take a break, don’t create the time and space to heal, you get swept away in the chaos of everyday life, feeling like you’re disconnected from yourself.

Deeper connections start with YOU

You have the power to make the necessary changes to create a life that is fulfilling to you. It starts with fostering a deeper connection with yourself through healing your relationship to food, fitness, and body image + unburdening yourself from attachment wounds and codependency + learning to calm your nervous system and to regulate your emotions. It starts with you, honouring your boundaries, speaking up to assert your needs. You have the power to be more present, stop rushing, and to ease your sense of overwhelm.
